COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures Onsite

CAUT is closely monitoring and following public health protocols in the planning and organization of in-person meetings, conferences, and events. While masking mandates in indoor public settings have been lifted, attendees are strongly encouraged to wear a face mask if they have not been vaccinated, are vulnerable, or have recently been ill.

Masks, hand sanitizer, and a limited number of COVID-19 Rapid Tests will be available on-site, upon request.

Attendees should complete a self-assessment each day. If you do not pass the self-assessment, if you feel unwell, or if you have any symptoms, even if mild, assume you may have COVID-19. Immediately isolate.

If you are experiencing symptoms and would like medical attention, please refer to Ottawa Public Health’s information about how you can receive care.

If you develop COVID-19 within five days following the event, please contact the CAUT office at ED.Office-Bureau.DG@caut.ca for the purpose of confidential exposure notification and contact tracing.
